Abstract

|
GEWOCOL¢ç is a combination prescription of acetaminophen, ibuprofen, DL-methylephedrine HCl, caffeine, chlorpheniramine maleate, guaifenesin and dextromethorphan HBr.
It improved common cold symptoms such as headache, pharyngitis, fever or cough etc. Thirty patients were treated with GEWOCOL¢ç from June to July 1991.
They were given one bottle(30m1) of GEVVOCOL¢ç t.i.d. by P.O. :for an average 1-7days.
1. Twenty five patients(83.3%) were improved for URI(Upper Respiratory Infection) syndromes.
2. There were four patients(13.3%) of side effects but these were mild and transitory which were subsided by discontinuance of medication.
